Kyla Ledlow
CEO and Founder
Engage and Retain, LLC

Kyla Ledlow is the CEO and founder of Engage and Retain, LLC. The company’s mission is to guide companies, departments, and teams to truly engage their people and retain their top talent – to lay a solid foundation for sustainable high performance and great leadership. In Kyla’s various roles, she has seen what disengagement, exhaustion, and overwhelm can do to performance, team morale, company culture, efficiency, productivity, and ultimately the bottom line. She and her team work with companies and their people to turn that around for not just short-term relief, but also for long-term results.

Kyla’s been told she is the perfect bridge between what HR wants to accomplish and what other functional teams want to accomplish, due to the combination of her natural people-strengths and her experience leading analytical teams. She has the unique perspective of being a “people” person who lived in a “numbers” professional accounting career for almost 20 years – as a manager-level CPA in a regional firm, as a controller of a non-profit organization, and her last 6 years in corporate as part of the global finance training & development team in a Fortune 500 company. She left a successful career with that company in 2012 to start her own business empowering professional women, and later moved into empowering companies through energizing and engaging their top talent.

Kyla has facilitated workshops and long-term programs in a variety of corporate settings:

  • Fortune 500 companies
  • Large global accounting firms
  • A variety of non-profit organizations: hospitals, schools, medical offices, global foundations, colleges, etc.
  • Worksite wellness program providers
  • Professional women’s groups, both within corporations and independently organized
  • She was also featured as a speaker at the Working Mother’s Top 100 Best Companies to Work For annual work-life congress in 2013.
